Restricting chart display on selection in a container

Hi,

I am new to qlikview and i would want to know if there is any posiblity of making a conditional display in a container .For  eg in case the container has three objects,can i make to display only two charts on certain selection.

I have attached a sample application wherein i would want the container to display objects

1.A1 and A2 when year selected is 2010

2. A2 and A3 when year selected is 2011

3. A1, A2 and A3 when year selected is 2012

Can anyone please let me how this could be acheived using a single container

Hi Nirmal,

In the sample that is been put up, i see that the presentation is changed to grid suppose if i have around 6 charts instead of the text objects the UI doesnt seem to be better,secondly when the presentation is changed to single object display i find that the option to select the text boxes from the container does not change upon the selection of year.It remains the same and when the object that does not satisfy the selection condition is selected the container seems empty.But,i would want this restriction to happen at the container level itself.So can you please let me know if that is possible

Hi Nirmal,

I have put up the sample attachment with 6 charts,wherein i would want display charts metric1 and metric2 when the selected year is 2010 and 2011 whereas when the year of selection is 2012 i want to display all the charts put up in the container.When I select the year as 2010 or 2011 i want the container to show only the drop down select for metric1 and metric2 charts whereas when i select the year as 2012 all the charts from metric1 to metric7 must be available in the dropdown list. The container must display only one chart at a time. Can you please let me know how i could get this done
