Restrictions of items based on security

How do you restrict items that are viable in a list box / chart using security?

For example based on a suers NT login you can derive there location, but you then only wnat to show customers for that location in a list box.

Simialrly how would you restrict the result in a chart to only show his customers values?

You can do this using section access reductions (or if you are using Publisher Enterprise, with a Loop & Reduce). For the section access solution, see pages 507 - 511 of the QlikView Reference Manual.

Thanks have read the manual. Just needed to be pointed in the right direction.

How would this work with multiple items? e.g. if I would like to use OMIT and omit field1 and field2 what is the syntax. Can I do this on the same row or would I need to create a row for each item that I wish to Omit for a user?
