Return the selected value when open the document - Qlik Community

Hi,

Wanna ask, is the Qlikview application will return the last selection after closed and open.

Meaning to say, for example now I opened the application, I change the customer selection from A to B and I closed the application.

When I open back, is the document suppose return the customer B instead of A?

Currently is always return the saved result which is A.

If you will select customer B and save the application and close,

then when on opening Customer B will be selected in two conditions.

No default selections are defined in Triggers on Document open(Desktop Client).

While accessing from Access point if you remove the document state , then Customer A will be selected otherwise Customer B will be selected, I guess.

Hi,

If you are opening the document using Qlikview Desktop then whatever the selections at the time of saving the document will be saved and applied while opening the document next time. If you select B and save next time it will be selected as B while opening the document.

If you are accessing dashboard from Access point then your last selections will be selected on opening the document.

Sorry forgot to mention is from Access Point. I try to access from Access point but still not select the last selections. Please advice.

Hi C S,

In Desktop Version

If your are using this, then whatever selection you made on your application and saved it then closed.

Next time when you open your application, by default your last selection will automatically be there,

but if you used any trigger then trigger value showed on your application.

In Access Point

If you are using this, then any selection you made on your application then closed it and again open the selection you made is automatically be there,

but if you signout from your access point and again log in then your previous selection are removed from the application.

According to your Point

Please check in your application there is trigger set that always select A whenever you opened the application again by selecting B and saved it.
