Rolling, Point in time and Running

Hi All,

I get confused with the terms-

-rolling n periods and

-point in time reporting.

I assume both terms means the same ie YTD, Prevous YTD, MTD, QTD etc. analysis.

Am i correct?

Also running total is a entirely different concept. Right?
