Best I can tell you is to try in latest release and if not there, you can check to see if the Idea has already been submitted, and if not, you can add it, but you may want to look into NPrinting too, as I would suspect that can likely do what you want.

Sorry I do not have anything better for you. The Report Editor likely will not have further improvements would be my hunch given we try to direct folks over to the NPrinting product if they want better functionality etc.
