SAP - QV Test connection Error

Dear All,

Kindly find the attached File in PNG format.

i am getting this error and not able to understand the reason.

transport file installed at SAP en is

SAP BASIS System 6.10 and 6.20

For these systems, the following transports must be installed in the SAP system:

 E6DK900616 (data extraction)

 E6DK900612 (user profile

SAP connector i am using Version 5.8 SR3.

kindly revert urgently required.

The SAP connector is not able to query the SAP installation for any installed transports. Probably your SAP user configuration has gone haywire.

Dear Peter,

i can understand your point,but issue is not sort out yet ans facing one more scenario,

i have installed SAP connector on my desktop(Version Mentioned above) and

Connector version 5.3 installed on Different laptop through which it is allowing me make connection.

what would be the issue kindly suggest?

You cannot connect two different versions of the SAP Connector to the same SAP instance. Both will use different transport versions and will actively check for the transport version number. One of them will fail to connect.

Starting with SAP Connector 5.8SRsomething, transports and connectors are decoupled, and an upgrade of the connector won't necessarily require an upgrade of the transports anymore. But you should at least upgrade all Connectors and transports to 5.8SRsomething. Check the SAP Connector release notes for more details.

Did a quick check for you: starting from 5.8SR3, Connectors are backwards compatible with transports installed from 5.8SR2 on. This means that if you want to upgrade from 5.8SR2 to 5.8SR3, there is no need to upgrade the transports.

5.8SR3 and later however will not accept transports older than 5.8SR2.
