SUM for certain time period

I have the following data:

Data               Quantity

01.01.2018     1

04.01.2018     15

06.03.2018     18

17.04.2018     3

How can I get cummulative sum for each month name (until Dec 2018)?

I need to get the following results:

MonthName     Sum

Jan 2018          16

Feb 2018          16

Mar 2018          34

Apr 2018           37

May 2018          37

..

Dec 2018          37

You change the data itself, but in my case I have date, but with different values 0 and 1. I need to take into account this variable.

Can you share some real data, i just made this up based on my understanding

May be you can take reference of few logic and make customization as per your requirement and data.
