Save data already loaded

Hello,

Is it possible to store a data which is already loaded ? I need to reload a a dashboard (after changing the script) containning last month data  but i lost last month data sources.

Do someone have a solution ?

You can consider using a partial reload (have a look at the script for the options) or exporting the historic data to QVD, then create your new dashboard with all data.

You could save a copy of your original QVW and then use that in a binary load (load from QlikView Files) to bring in the old data.

You can also then use a store command to save the data to QVDs.

A binary load must be the first line of your load script.

You can also generate qvds interactively from within your application.

Create a straight table having all required fields as dimensions, no expression and deselect the  "suppress zero-values" option in the presentation tab.

Then use the chart export function and select "QlikView data fiel (*.qvd)" as export format.
