Saving the report writer document to MS Word or Excel

Hi

I want to know if I can save any reports I create on the report writer to MS Word or Excel documents.

I have come across a requirement to be able to drag the reports on to report writer and then saving that report to a word document for review. Is there a way to do this as I cannot see a menu option or button to do that on report writer?

Hi,

No way to do this that I know of I'm afraid (other guys out there please feel free to contradict me!).  You can use a PDF printer (QlikTech have one to download or use something like PrimoPDF) to produce a PDF document.  That is pretty universal as everyone can get Adobe PDF reader as a free download.

If it needs to be Word then you can get PDF converters ... but I'd stick with PDF if you can.

to export from Qlikview to Excel you need to develop a macro.
