How to add a trendline for an x variable, where the trendline is x=a number (in this case the average of all x values)? System will let you add trendline for y, but not also x axis.
For something as basic as the average you could possibly achieve it by using a reference line (see the presentation tab of properties), this would however not work for any higher order trends.
