Schedule PDF report generation and distribution?! Need a publisher server?

Hi ALL

i have some questions for the scedule job at Qlikview. i search from web and get some possible answers:

1. Buy a Publisher server (additional license) to achieve the result  or

2. Using a Qlikview Server version, Write a macro at QVW, prepare a SMTP mail server should achieve of it

Please comments if i have wrong. If possible, pleses post any reference link to describle how it work....

Generally you could the same achieve with a single fat client. But beside the amount of PDF you should in your

cost-benefit ratio involve further benefit from Server/Publisher. See here for any macro examples (there are a lot here in forum):
