Script Editor Hanging

Over the last week or so any time I click the button to edit a load script QV hangs and it will take 2-3 mins to open the script editor.  During this time task manager actually shows QV.exe as not responding.

I've googled a bit but nothing is jumping out at me re a solution.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled but same issues are there.  This even happens on a brand new report with no data etc.

In historical versions of QlikView Desktop, this could happen when some Connectors took an inordinate amount of time to initialise (and then some even decided to crash, mostly unstable Connectors that have since been pulled). This is a phase of Script Editor set-up that couldn't be avoided when opening the script editor.

However, I thought that those delays were a thing of the past... What version of QV Desktop are you using? Did you install other Connectors than the default ones?
