I haven't tried PPT.  We try to make it all dynamic, meaning : exporting to XLS and let the powerpoint point to that XLS.

If you really want PPT, I'm afraid I can't help you 😞

Why don't you produce PDF ?  In QV, you can import pictures and use them in the reports.  By making use of the Z (euch, how is it called in QV?), you can send the pictures to the back and set charts/tables/... in front of them.

In that way, you create an attractive PDF, but please take in mind that the PDF grows a lot.  It could be a PDF of 2MB, that's heavy...

Otherwise, try to have a look on how to 'import' dynamic data in PPT's from XLS and use the same script in a VBS-file to distribute them to your recepients.

ok thanks for reply jochen,

but the client requirement is, to export qlikview objects to powerpoint on button click in qlikview.

And it should be dynamic in the powerpoint also and if we send that ppt to others, it should work fine as dynamic.

The way I would do it : export in QV to an image and use that image in PPT.  In the macro point to the PPT-file to send out.

Hello all,

I had looked for this kind of operations (sending email with attachments authomatically from QlikView) for long time and I found a couple of videos on YouTube that present a specific tool to compute such operations:
