Search box and fields

Hi,

When I use the search box, it shows the names of the fields. Is there any way to show another field name? I mean, to mask those field names as they are a little dirty on our qlik application. To sum up, if I have a field named B5, can I rename it only in the search of so it shows B?

Hi,

    You can change the fields name in script and they will appear every where in application as you have defind.

     Try this way.

     Load

          B5 as B

          ......

     From xyx..

Hi K, thanks for your reply but this is not what I need.

What I need is show a different mask field name without changeing it in the script. Because if I do tihs, i have to change everything, all formulas etcwhere this field is being used.
