Section Access - Reduction field problem - straight from example

Hi All,

I was trying to use the reduction field in section access.  To test it I copied the example from the 'Introduction to Section Access' document from Qliktech.  Unfortunately, when I login to the app as any of the users I get all of the information so the reduction hasn't worked.

I have attached a test doc to show this problem.

Can anyone please shed some light on this for me?

To access:

username = ADMIN

password = ADMIN

Are you logged in as an Admin user? If you are logged in as a User, you have lesser privileges which can prevent you from changing certain settings.

Yes, I have another version of QView on my server - tested it and it works so I'm downloading the latest version of QView which will hopefully fix the problem.  Very strange!

Ok - I upgraded my QView desktop version and it now works!  Must have been a bug of some description.
