Section Access scenario

Hi All,

Referring to the attached files, i have set up a section access.. now I want to restrict user on two fields(LINE and OWNER) but not with an "AND" operator but "OR" operator ...that means.. if logged on user's LINE value either equals to Deatils.LINE or Details.OWNER the data is to be displayed...

Any ideas?

Thanks Everyone..

I solved that problem by merging the two fields for all the possible combinations of LINE and OWNER and then have it as a hidden column in my document.

Dear Kaushik,

Thanks for your reply. I am sorry i forgot to tell the following

There is a hidden script for section access.. password for hidden script is "masster"

use ADMIN/ADMIN to log in to the document.

Hi aiklamha,

Check my modified qvw. Try accessing it using MOL/MOL to log in, it will only show the respective containers defined in the XLS.

(I'm not sure if this is the best way of doing it....)

Hope this helps you

Fernando
