Hi Judi,

You have to do this with Windows rights.

Right clic on your folder or document / Security...

Read right allow to access to the application by the AccessPoint.

Hope that helps you

Well you can implement security in many ways. The one I like to do is stop dynamic CAL allocation and assign document CAL license on need basis. So all users are denied by default (except Named users who can accesss any document).

So the steps are as follows with the assumption that you are using Windows Active directory:

1 - Uncheck dynamic CAL allocation option on QMC

2 - Assign document CAL to the users who require to run the report

3 - To hide the report from non-authorized people on QlikView accesss point use Section Access clause in your QlikView file and reload and make sure you add yourself and other IT people as admin, otherwise you will get the file locked.

I hope this helps!
