Security warning while opening a Dashboard from Access Point.

Hi There,

While Opening a particular Dashboard i am getting security warning which has been attached here.

Kindly Suggest on this.

Hi,

It might be because of your default client is set to download.

Select some other Preferred client.

Have a look at the attached image.

You're trying to open the document using the plugin, which doesn't look to be installed on your machine.

Select 'Open' and install the plugin, and it should work ok.

Alternatively enable AJAX mode for the document in QEMC

Hi Marcus,    

Thanks for your reply. The IE Plugin has installed & you are correct it is fine while opening in Ajax but requirement is to open in IE plugin Only.
So could you please share your idea on this.

Hi,

Did you check for the default client?

Plugin has to be the same.

If you had Plugin installed and in any case if you upgrade, Then uninstall old plugin and install new plugin.

What version of Qlik You use?

if 11.2 sr6 greater you might need IE11.

Can you try to open Application with plugin in any other system?

If you want to set up a document to ONLY open with the plugin,

in QEMC, go to

Documents tab, User Documents, then select your document.

On the right hand side, go to Server, Availability, and change the settings under 'Access Method'.

Dear Sonali,

I think this is more a tunneling issue that your proxy do not trust. It seems that your IE plug-in is trying to tunnel to port 80 but your proxy server rejects it with this kind of error, have you try to go to you IE security and add the server to the trusted sites? ( Open IE> internet options> security> local intranet and trusted sites > select "sites"  > advances> add the Qlikview Accesspoint site here. hit close, ok, apply. Restart the browser and try again.
