This is actually a two part question.
First is how I bring back a value from a column with a variable field name, I have set the field up to bring back data for financial periods depending on the selection made.
Example if 5 September is selected the first column name is "Current 2013Sep", column 2 is Month 1 2013Aug, etc.
The send issue is I need to sum the values on the columns in certain circumstances, example
Current 2013Sep, Month1 2013Aug, Month2 2013Jul, Month3 2013Jun
500, -100, 0, 200
What I need to do is to subtract the -100 from Month1 and add it to Month3
The results shoud be
Current 2013Sep, Month1 2013Aug, Month2 2013Jul, Month3 2013Jun
500, 0, 0, 100
