Selection specific to sheet object

Hi

i have requirement like if i make selection on list box then particular sheet objects example 'mysheet' objects only will effect and remaining objects presented in different sheets should not get effected.

In Settings --> Sheet Properties --> Triggers tab, add action to clear field for 'OnLeaveSheet'

I did not get can you please expalin.i need except for one particular sheet it should not be effected when i iam doing selections for querying the data in other sheet objects
