Selections on one sheet should not affect other sheet

Hi All,

I want selection on each sheet should be independent of each other. I have 4 sheets, these sheets should be such that if i give selection on one sheet it should not get affect regarding the selections on other sheets.??

Hi,

I would suggest to go for alternate states. It is a great future that fits your requirement.

Hi Rohit,

If you have less number of fields in sheets then you can bypass the selections by using the

DimensionName1=, DimensionName2=, DimensionName3= in set analysis like below

Sum({<DimensionName1=, DimensionName2=, DimensionName3= >} MeasureName)

The above expression will ignore selections in DimensionName1, DimensionName2, DimensionName3 fields.

Or you can use Alternate States.

If you attach some sample file it would be even better to provide the solution.
