Send e-mail from Qlikview

Hi there,

I am wondering if it is possible to send an e-mail from a Qlikview document once it has refreshed successfully.

Ideally if it was a few lines of script it would be great.

Or, if there are any API's available out there that might cater for same if you can point me in the right direction it would be great.

In QV Desktop have a look at the Alert Wizard, under Tools, and set up an On Post Reload Alert.

Hi,

I wanted to do it but I have never found how.

- the alerts don't work when the QV is reloaded from QMC

-I also tried with a batch file --> Create a batch file that sends an email  and at the end of the script, add a line that executes the batch file.  In my case, it also didn't work when the QV was reloaded from QMC

I would be glad to know if you end up finding a solution.

I was only able to get it to work consistently via a .bat file and windows task scheduler.

No luck getting it to run "onpostreload" from qmc

Yeah, I also use windows task scheduler.
