We are seeing when clicking send to excel that a new tab opens, the closes and with that we lose the ability to save the .xls file. We have tried tons of IE secruity settings but nothing has prevented the tab from closing. This is only happening when viewed from within our webpage (embedded I think is the proper term?). It works fine when you use the report via the main Qlikview site we have. What is weird is that the Export... from right click that exports the csv file works fine.
I did a ton of searching but could not find a solution to stop the tab from closing or try to figure out what could possibly be causing this issue. Hopefully someone will have some new ideas. I am unable to share the screen-clip I took of what exactly it looks like while its happening as it contains private and proprietary information.
