Our organization QV setup has QV server installed on a server. And we have few QV desktop installations in our team.
Previusly, i used to login to the server, and develop some QVW's and publish in server. Those QV applications will be used by users, again with QV desktop installation on their machines and they will connect using 'open in server' option.
Now we want to develop the QV applications with our QV desktop option , that is develop locally . In that case, how can we publish the QV application so that our users can view the data. How can we move the QVW's developed locally to the QV server?
I feel this is a silly question, but please clarify this.
You can use QV publisher to publish the QVWs that you have developed locally to be available to your users via Accesspoint.
For this, you need to go to Qlikview Management Console and set up the task for the intended QVW. Then once your developement is complete, you can run that task, which will reload/refresh the data in the QVW and users can view it on Accesspoint.

you can just copy your qvw to your server folder after you develop. if you dont have publisher, you can use sharing folder windows so qlikview server access to it and application develop there.
