I don't believe that this will be directly possible. But indirectly over some programs or provider which you send a mail and which then convert the mail into a sms. Quite similar to this we have in our company a fax-server which you send a mail like: ReceiverNumber@OurFaxServer.com and the mail-attachment will be converted as fax. I could imagine that this will be by various programs or provider offered.
