I get the following message after I have not used the Qlikview Document for about 10 miuntes or so "Server communication lost, closing document!" does anyone know why this happens, is this a setting on the server I can change?
By default a QV document will close the connection to the server 30 minutes after not being used. You can find the configuration in the Performance tab of the QV Server setup options in the QV Management Console.
However, since you were disconnected after only 10 minutes you should look at QV session log file to see the reason why you were disconnected. One common error I've seen in this log is that the user session is killed for user CAL, which means somebody logged in to another session on another machine with your user.
Depending on your Windows version the log file can be in different folders. If you have Windows 2008 it is here: C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Qvs.
