Server crashed and now I cannot open QlikView document

While working on an application the screen went green and logged me out of my session.  When I returned and tried to launch my application I get the following error.

Is the file corrupted and I am hosed or can I get it open some other way?

Thank you.

Thanks everyone.

Fortunately I was able to recover the file.

Rob Wunderlich rwunderlich was able to provide the following information which allowed me to open the app.

Try opening it without data. You can do that from a right click on the recent documents screen or with command line switches. Also if you install RightQlik https://iqlik.wordpress.com/2014/03/24/rightqlik-quick-access-to-common-operations-on-qlikview-files...

Hi,

i ) Check if you have the server access  or not.

ii) Check the file size, if the file is corrupted, the file size would less than 1 MB size.

Check the below link.

"The document xxx.qvw failed to load." How to repair my QVW file?

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Hi  Darrin,

In the Start Page in Qlikview Desktop where you see recently opened documents, try right clicking on the qvw in question and select "Open "xxx" without data"

Kind Regards,
