Share reports via QlikView Server?

Hi All,

I have a question about QlikView Server.

If I have more than one QlikView Clients want to share some reports, is it necessary to share those reports though QlikView Server?

If you have the proper license can you instead create a PDF distribution that are e.g sent out on mail or sent to disk. This can be done to a single source or to multiple recipients.

If you need to share many PDF reports I recommend having a look att the NPrinting tool.

Oh yes, I hear about NPrinting. But NPrinting also need to have license, am i correct?

Yes you need a separate license for NPrinting.

Is PDF a requirement? Why are you not considering to give everyone access to a QlikView application?

For PDF reporting, do also consider QlikView PDF Report Distribution. This is QlikView's solution for PDF. NPrinting is developed by a QlikView partner. Both solutions are worth having a look at.

You will be fine doing that as long as the end user has a Qlikview license to be able to open the dashboard (doc/named/session or leased license).
