Show blank chart until selections are made

Is this possible? This chart isn't meant to be looked at with all selections:

blah1.png

I want it to be blank and then when a selection is made:

blah2.png

Thanks!

Here is an example where I don't want the chart to draw unless they selections are made on the Programme field:

on the expressions tab you can make the expression calculation conditional e.g count(My_Field) < 10

Hi Joe,

you can add a calculation condition to the chart, using something like getpossiblecount() of the field you are displaying

Hope that helps

Please see attached, you can then put in a custom message for the calculation condition to make the user aware of the conditionCalculation limit.png

I've never heard of getpossiblecount before. Much appreciated!

it is useful when you are filtering down using other dimensions but only want to show once you limit down enough.

Eg you might make a selection on a product group or product type but not the project ID itself but only want to display ID's once you limit down to 10
