Hi,
When i try to export data from a chart to an Excel file, it takes 30 minutes for 10,000 rows! it is bothering the users and it should be much much faster.
We use QlikView 11 SP1, and Excel 2010.
Does anyone know how we can make the export faster?
Thanks,
Guy D.
Guy,
Don't accept this as the way it should be. I raised this issue with QlikTech and received a patch that fixed it.

Try to export the chart in text or csv and then open the file through excel.
Regards,
Tom
Hi Tom,
It seems to take the same as exporting it to Excel...
Yup,but as you said it takes a longer time when directly exporting to excel.
so,try to export in txt and then open the file in excel.
Regrads,
Tom
Hi,
I found out what is the cause of the problem:
It is becuase the chart columns may be hide \ shown according to Condition expression. (using the Conditional checkbox in the Expressions tab), and therefore the export takes a lot of time (comparing to "regular" chart, without the condition feature ).
Thanks a lot,
Guy
