Yes, I've done the developer certification. It consists of three main parts (more like two tests though).
The first part is the questionnaire regarding QlikView as a product, aswell as best practises and some scripting functions. You will have access to internet as you do the test, so if you have any problems knowing the answer, you could figure it out anyway online. Personally I think the questionnaire was easy and did it in less than 30 minutes (about 22 questions if I remember correctly) with 90 minutes time to answer.
Second part is just reading material, pdf, best practises, design and such. It's more of a "you should know this before you try the next step".
Third part is the hard part. You have to develop a qlikview application according to a predefined request. The request is quite vague with lots of holes so you will have to guess a lot and decide for yourself what the fictive customer actually wants. It is measured by two main means; design and script.
The application is supposed to take about 3-5 days to develop. I had it done in about 6-8 days (probably overdid the script-part and underdid the design-part as usual :P). When you're finished. Send it in and your personal censor will look at it, and contact you for a discussion on thoughts and solutions. If good, you'll pass, if not you may have extra time to complete or fail miserably.
Overall, it's a VERY GOOD way to determine the skills of a developer. Oh, almost forgot. Time to complete the full certification is about two months, so you will have ample time to build whatever monster application you feel like.
