Sorting Top 10 Movies by Gender (based on average rating)

Hi I have been having some issues with sorting my Pivot Table.

My question I want to answer is - who are the top 10 movies for females and males.

I have already set a sort by Gender, so I would like to have the average rating sorted in order and highlighting only the top 10. I have tried to set it various times and ways on the sort tab, but cannot seem to solve it.

Hi Jodi,

Actually in my mind, if the pivot table has 2 or more expressions, the sort function will be dead. I don't know whether it's a bug or not.

But I recommend that if possible, you can use the straight table.

And if you only want to show the top 10 in the pivot table, you can also write a calculated dimension, then only show the top 10 movies.

Thanks.
