Sorting by Expression in a Bar Chart

Hi guys,

Hopefully, this is a nice and easy one.

I have a bar chart with two dimensions, Year and Department.

I have one expression which is a simple sum i.e. Sum(Supplier_Cost).

I would like my bar chart to be sorted in ascending order by the expression above and also by Year.

I would like to see the least year (2010) appear first then other years in the axis and then I would like to see the supplier costs in ascending order in the bar chart.

I tried using the expression and using Rank in the sort tab, but it still doesn't work as expected.

Can you please let me know how to get this working?

Are the same parameters selected when you select the Region dimension? Now you define those for the Year dimension.

in my case not,but again that depends on which dimension his first show on his chart!

I have attached an image of the chart with two dimensions and one expression and what i would like is to sort by ascending numerical value by Year.
