Sorting group dimension by year then month

hi everyone,

I have a dimension that is a group. One of the fields in the group is the monthyear.

what I would like to do is sort it by year then month so that I get:

Apr2011, May2011....Apr2012, Jun2012.

Currntly I am getting this: -

I tried to sort by full_date (a field whichis teh date in the format dd/mm/yyyy) but it gave teh above. I also tried sorting numeric and get the same.

Does anyone have a suggestion?
