In Straight table sorting is not working for me in both ways like Ascending as well as descending.Requirement is user should sort in both ways Ascending as well as Descending.
When I was working on this what I have seen is Sorting works good when data is less in Straight table but it's noty working in my real application wherein data is more.
I had exactly the same problem today (QlikView 10 SR3), double-clicking on a column in a straight table only sorted it in the default direction, so it didn't switch between ascending and descending.
Here's how I've fixed it:
- there were a couple of disabled expressions before the column thatI tried to sort (+ a cycle group)
- I deleted these disabled expressions and the sorting started to work as normal
