Hi,
The x axis on my graph is very cramped, the labels are too close together, and it makes for difficult analysis.
I've turned the "scrollbar on" and asked it to display 52 items, but I would rather it did it over a wide range, and not have the points so close together. How can i change the spacing of data items on the x axis?
Hey
try this option
go to presentation -> bar settings-->
reduce bar distance and cluster distance
-Sathish
Cluster and bar distance are disabled.
u r using which version?
8.2 or 8.5?
8.20.5415.2
Should also be noted that it's a line graph not a bar chart...
Point is not to space the bars, or the points on the line..
purpose is to increase the gaps between the x axis data label thingies.
At the moment i've got "show 52 points" and i have 52 points.. but i don't have 52 labels corresponding, nor has the scrollbar enabled itself.
oh i am using 8.5
if u want urgent then i ll do uninstall my qlikview then i down to version 8.2 then i ll try this....
-Sathish
can u attach ur application here?
-Sathish
I can't unfortunatly.
But I still don't think that will do what i want for the line chart.
It will just move widen or narrow the bars on a chart.
I just want to space the x axis entries further apart.
See if checking the box 'split Axis and reducing font size helps..!
