Hi,
I want to create a bar chart that shows the actual and the growth in split axis in horizontal orientation but I cannot make it look right.
I have been changing all possible settings (scale, forced 0, split %, pressing Ctrl+shift, etc) but I get a very ugly result (see attached left chart).
The second question is: how can I make both bar charts to start in the same point? The upper chart starts after the bottom finishes.
Thanks in advance!
Possible to post a diagram of what you need it to look like . It SOUNDS like a waterfall type chart but i'm not sure. There are examples of waterfall charts on community too.
are you looking for something similar to attached image?
Hi Jonathan,
I dont need a waterfall, I just need to change the chart from horizontal to vertical orientation. With one dimension it is ok, but when I add two dimensions and split the axis then charts overlap.
This is what I have:
This is what I want:

Hi Shruthi,
Yes I am looking for something like that too, but with split axis. Do you have any example?
Best regards,

It seems like a bug to me. The 2 axis are not physically separating in the horizontal position when the axes is supposed to be 'split' .
Changing properties seems to be causing unexpected behavior in some situations.
I would suggest using two horizontal bar charts side by side in the interim.
