Sr6 direct discovery

      does latest qlikview 11.2 SR6 has  direct discovery, In  Which Direct Discovery Is Good to use SR6 or SR5??

Yes.

SR5 and SR6 are both excellent releases to use Direct Discovery. The syntax has changed between SR4 and SR5, so you will not experience any differences if you use either SR5 or SR6. I would suggest to install SR6 as -again- a lot of bugs have been fixed, and server collaboration may experience a substantial performance improvement.

Hello Rohit,

  I will encourage you to use QlikView SR6, with SR5 it contains enhanced Direct Discovery features which are already covered in SR6. Direct Discovery SR5 build has number of changes in terms of Syntax and features.

1- We can have Where clause

2- We can Cancel Query enhancement

3- Global search on dimension fields.

I wouldn't call it excellent, but better than SR4.  And, I've got an impression that DD in SR6 is faster than in SR5.
