Straight Table Wrap Header Text, cuts by the letter

Hi All,

I've got a customer, who has notice that straight tables now wrap header text to the letter, and not to the word. Meaning that words are cut in the middle even though there is enough space to wrap the word on the next line. Which is not very elegant/practical for the users…

Any input? Workaround? Fix on the way?

What version? I recall a bug like this back in 8.2 or an early 8.5. It was fixed long ago.

Latest 8.5 which is weird.

Is the user running 800x600 resolution by chance? I recall some fuzzy memory of an issue with that.

I tested it with both the Developer (32-bit and 64-bit) and the IE plugin (64-bit) on a 1400x1050 reso.

The users are using, as far as I know, all using IE plugin on 1024x768.

They all cut to the letter.
