Straight or Pivot Table

Hi All,

I have a requirement to use either straight table or the pivot table, to get what is there in the excel sheet. If you see the the excel sheet, Country, Type (Base, OSD, Total) and the year (2008, 2009) are the dimensions. I have used a straight table to get this, but unable to get dimension Year horizontally and also type (Base, OSD, Total) totals horizontally. Is there any way of doing it. See the attachment.

For a Pivot Table - Add year as a dimension and drag and drop the Year dimension above the Quarter. For subtotals go to the presentation tabl and select the field that you want to subtotal

Hi,

I am unable to move the year horizontally. It always go vertical. Do I have to enable something to move a dimension horizontally.

If I am able to move, my problem is solved.

Hi,

just give it a try and drag the title in a slow bow first down, then to left and slighty upwards. Should work then.
