Straight table display columns

Hi all,

I have a straight table with 8 columns.

I want to have a visual separation between the 4th and the 5th column.

How can I make the columnline between both bold for example?

I prefer not to work with background colors as my straight table is already in 'pyjama green' style.

Thank you,

Unfortunately it is as you say (as far as I know) not possible to change specific cellborders to bold (only above and below borders). What I did was simply change the background of the expression to RGB(187,209,146) that is the same color used in the table style and then rightclick on the object (on the specific column i want to edit) then change "Custom Format Cell".  On the options of the "border before cell and border after cell" simply remove the line style or change it to the same RGB color as above.

If you cant see the Custom Format Cell option then you have to change your user settings (Design tab lower right corner "Always Show Design Menu Items"

Hope this helps.

Thank you but i will wait until someone knows how to turn it in bold.

It is a good alternative but it takes additional space which i don't have, 8 columns are just fitting on the dashboard without having to use an horizotal elevator.

Hi,

right click over the cell and select customformat cell option and you can do changes on that.

Please find the attached file, hope it helps.

Already tried by right clicking over the cell and then select custom format but as far as I know this feature is for that particular cell only, not the entire column.

Also, the attachment is the same as the one from Rajni, so I don't see the difference here.

Not exactly what you want, same theory as previous versions but eliminating the cellborders. Maybe it might help?

Ok, i assume there is no such option to make specific cellborders within a straight table bold.

Can you tell me then how you eliminate the border as shown in your last attachment?

Thank you.
