Subversion in qlikview

Hi,

I'm New  to qlikview , how to use subversion in qlikview  and what are software need in this subversion for qlikview11 version.

I goon through that me document

But I'm looking at step by step progress for installation of tortoise subversion in qlikview and more what are  benefits for using tortoise in qlikview

Tortoise is not installed in Qlikview. It's a separate application. All Qlikview needs is the url to your subversion repository. You should be able to find plenty of information on the internet about installing tortoise and creating a repository.

I use Subversion with QlikView and find it very useful, especially for promoting things from Dev to Test and then Prod.

Also good for getting the latest version into your Dev.

Only one main thing to be aware of is that variables created in the GUI get lost.  But there again I believe variables should be created in the script and QlikView with Subversion handles this perfectly.

Also provides an informal backup of your qvw's [without their potentially massive data]. which I have used a couple of times when some people, who shall remain nameless, have carelessly trashed qvw's.
