Sudden increase reload time

Hi Community members,

Till yesterday which qvw files were taking 20 -30 sec to relaod at QMC,

suddenly those files are taking 4 to 5 hours to relaod.

What can be the reason and solution of this?

check whether your service are up and running and check the server RAM usage ...if some other qvw are consuming the RAM it will effect the other reloads also... check the data size too

Thanks for quick reply,

7 GB RAM is using and parallely no other qvw is running.

This problem is suddenly start since yesterday afternoon, and all documents are taking a lot time to relaod.

It could be due to the database itself having some issue, or network problem. However, did you try reloading the application in the development environment? If it reloads fast then the problem lies with the infrastructure that links to the application. However if not, then if would be worth to check conditions like date ranges and volume of data loaded in.

Yes I did reloading in development environment also, it also took a lot time.

This problem is happening with all qlikview documents suddenly, what can be the reason of this?

Can you try disabling all the QVWs and then running them one-by-one? Check if that helps the QVWs to run faster. It could be a resource conflict. I once faced it with the QMC and disabling and then enabling one-by-one helped to overcome the problem. Perhaps right now you must be having many QVWs trying to run in the QMC.

Restart the all services and check. Your problem will solve.

I am reloading single qvw at a time, while earlier many qvws was relaoding simultaneously and relaod time was in seconds.

what does the mean of
