Suppress Value when it's null doubt

Hey guys, i was wondering one thing about the Suppress Value when it's null option on the dimension charts...

So, I have a database where when there is no Payer means that the claim was denied. I have also the Claim total amount in other column. When I plot a chart Payer x sum(Claim total amount), and check this option, what will they do exactly? Will they exclude those Claim Total amount whose doesn't have a Payer, right?

If you use field Payer as a dimension it works as you described!

Any value associated to Null values for Payer won't display
