Table Export in Excel file from Ajax

Hi All,

I have a issue about the possibility to export table object in Excel file by button (macro).

Could somebody give me the information about this possibility and the small example with macro and all needed parametres?

For example my application is located on the server (myserver). I need create the button, that should save my table (CH01) in Excel file (not csv) in necessary folder?

What function I should use in this macro (API)?

What directory for the saving file I should write in macro?

What rigths sould have users for the saving Excel?

... and more details if it possible...

Could somebody helm me in this issue?

This is not possible with Ajax

Hi, if you're using Ajax I'm afraid it's not possible. Have to use IE Plugin.
