Template for QlikView Report

Hi,

I want to build reports from multiple QlikView Documents. But each Report should contain the same header/footer.
How can I build up a template, that every time I want to build up a new report, I havent to build up the header/footer.

And how can I build up a report with a header/footer. Every time i copy a picture in the report with the header/footer functions it's only in the middle of the page or on the right/left side.

Thanks for help.

Regards,
Andreas

Talked to the QlikView Support and it's a bug with the Report Editor.
Maybe it will be fixed with the service release 5.

Hi Andreas

If you have to do a lot of reporting you might be better off with an automated Excel reporting than with the QlikView report options. For header/footer (and maybe also table and chart objects) it might also be easier to have "printing" version objects in a hidden sheet. These will follow your selections but can be easier formatted for printing use without impacting your display layouts.

For the Excel version you can try to follow these explanations

Andreas,

You can build structured reports in .xls format using NPrinting. These reports are based on .xls templates into which you can put images and custom headers and footers like you would in any Excel report. The software is available in a free version here: http://bit.ly/NPrinting_Free.

Hope this helps

Hi all,
thanks for your answers but I don't need Excel Reports. I need to build PDF-Reports in QlikView and sending them out via QlikView Server.
So, any help for the report editor?
