Text Colour & Font in Strainght/Pivot Table

Hello,

I wanted to know if the following is possible.

The data i have in a straight or pivot table is '459314567789' and i want to change the colour of the 6th to the 8th number to red and make it bold while the rest would be black and normal.

Thanks,

Ankur

Hey Ankur,

If that is the value in an expression, you can set the color or BOLD, by expanding the expression and editing the Background or Text option.

Else, if you want to format a particular (or a few) cell, then you can context click on the cell and select Custom Format cell.

I don't think you can format just part of a field separate from the rest of the field. Perhaps if you split it into multiple fields, removed the vertical bars in the chart, and smashed the columns right up next to each other?

=-0987ello Rocky,

Thank you for your reply, the value is coming from the DB as is.

Hi John,

Regarding your idea can you attach a small example for me.

I was trying to use the left/right trim function but instead of trim tried colour instead. Just giving it shot.

Will await your example.

Thank You,

Ankur

Ankur,

Attached is a solution like John mentioned. I can't think of a better work around for now.

Regards.
