Text field in TEXTCLOB

Am trying to extract text information from TEXTCLOB table in SAGE X3.  When I view the field via QVD file, there seems to be some encryption of the text data.  Any idea how to get around this to be able to read the text field?

Which type of DB connection you are using ?

In SAGE X3, do you have ant CLOB extraction functions, If Yes, use extract CLOB functions in your SQL and store data into QVD.
