The Demo Apps

I'm using the Personal Edition of QlikView. If I download some of the Demo Apps, and open them will they be counted as files that are created not on my computer.  We are allowed 4 in total.  I'm not sure.

This is a restriction of the personal edition. You are allowed to open only 4 documents which are not created on your computer. If you want to open more files which other persons have created you have to buy a licence.

Files that have been created on your computer can always opened.

If I remember correctly you will get prompted if it is going to be one of the 4.  You have to say 'OK'.  My guess is you can try to open one and if you are not prompted then it will not be an issue.  But I wish I had more information to offer... sorry.

I think that you can download the demo apps from Qliktech and they will work with the Personal Edition without using one of the recovery attempts.
