To implement from Month - Year and to Month- Year filter selection in qlikview

Hi,

I have requirement where i need to populate the month and year filter in the below format. The trick is, have to do this in a manner that don't have any impact on the expressions used in qlikview. So any suggestions around back end or variable level is expected.

or you can use date island = separeted table, disconnected from other tables in your data model

Not sure Alternate States is the way to go, could be better with variables as you asked.

Have a loot at this QlikView App: Dates, Date Ranges and Set Analysis it may give you food for thought.
